About this speaker
Dr. Susan Landers is a retired neonatologist who worked full-time in the NICU for over thirty years and raised three children to young adulthood. She achieved many academic and professional accomplishments throughout her career. She is an expert in working mother burnout. She loves to tell stories that reassure younger mothers to know that they, too, can become a “good enough mother” even if they work full-time. She supports mothers with her website blog, and her Substack newsletter, "MomsMatter." Her recent memoir is “So Many Babies: My Life Balancing a Busy Medical Career and Motherhood.” Her eBooks are “Defeating Burnout: a Guide for Working Mothers,” "Newborn Nurture: Cues, Care, Comfort, and Sleep," and "How to Care for Your Late Preterm Baby," all available on her website.
